The receiver becomes the sender

“The sender becomes the receiver” is a video made by and for Vlielanders. It turned out to be a 40-minute video that shows a combination of different scenes. These are interspersed with different animations. Some scenes are supplemented with animations to make it a bit more dynamic. The video starts like the new year always starts. With indication on Vlieland where we switch to the new year with champagne, which flows freely.

You can also see a few other permanent elements of the New Year’s reception. These are interspersed by a large number of Vlielanders who express their wishes for the new year from their position and personally.

This ensures that the receiver is also the sender. Even though not everyone can be seen, it is a message to each other. The Vlielanders create and send a message to each other. I really enjoyed creating the media for this remediation.
